Chelsea M. Augelli is a licensed attorney in Colorado. Chelsea’s practice is focused exclusively on family law matters. Chelsea works hard with clients to identify their long-term goals and to strategize how to best achieve them in their family law cases.  Whether preparing a case for trial or engaging in settlement negotiations outside of court, Chelsea believes that the key to helping clients succeed lies in thorough and strategic preparation.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Chelsea worked as a paralegal for a prominent family law firm, specializing in high-conflict litigation for several years. Chelsea has experience working on complex financial matters in divorce, parenting time disputes, child relocation, and child-support matters.

Chelsea has experience in a wide variety of areas outside of family law, including employment discrimination, corporate legal compliance, and criminal law. Chelsea was a judicial intern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for several Administrative Law Judges. In addition, Chelsea worked in the Family Violence Unit at the District Attorney’s Office in the 2nd Judicial District. Chelsea then practiced as a student attorney in the Civil Litigation Clinic at the Sturm College of Law, representing victims of domestic violence.  She was also appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem in civil protection order cases through the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center. Chelsea was a recipient of the prestigious Civil Litigation Clinic- Outstanding Student Lawyer award.
